Employee Dies in Gori Defense Academy

The Ministry of Defense announced on July 28 that 51-year-old Elguja Kedelashvili, an employee of the Davit Aghmashenebeli National Defense Academy passed away on the academy grounds.

The Ministry of Defense stated that Kedelashvili felt unwell and was given immediate medical assistance but passed away shortly afterwards. “According to initial reports, the cause of death may have been a sudden cardiac arrest, the exact causes will be determined by the appropriate [forensic] examination,” the Ministry said.
