Saakashvili Visits Munich

President Saakashvili is in Munich to take part in a conference Georgia at a New Crossroad, the president’s administration said on January 7.

Representatives from “Georgia’s friendly countries” – the U.S., Germany, France, the Czech Republic, Lithuania, Latvia, as well as from NATO and European Parliament participate in the conference, which will last till January 10, a press release of the Georgian president’s administration says.

The President’s administration also said that issues related with Georgia’s breakaway regions, relations between Georgia and the west, reform process in Georgia, “need for development of a new security model and the role of NATO, EU and the U.S. in this process” would be discussed by the conference.
