Two New Ambassadors Appointed

The Georgian parliament approved Konstantine Gabashvili, ex-chairman of the foreign relations committee, as Georgian ambassador to Italy, Malta and San Marino, as well as Georgian representative to Rome-based UN agencies on June 20.

Roman Metreveli, a former MP from the ruling party, was approved as ambassador to Romania and Moldova.
