Cabinet Discusses Tax Code

Cabinet members will meet in Adjara Autonomous Republic on August 25 to finalize new, liberalized tax code, which is expected to be submitted to the Parliament for approval next week.

President Saakashvili left for Batumi, Adjarian capital, on August 25 to participate in the cabinet session.

The privatization of the state-run enterprises in Adjara will also be discussed during the cabinet meeting.
