Abkhaz Peace Plan Delayed

Georgia’s peace plan over resolution of the Abkhaz conflict will be finalized soon, officials say, but fail to specify an exact date.

According to a resolution adopted last October, the Parliament instructed the government to develop and present a peace plan on Abkhazia before May 1, 2006.

It is expected that the structure of peace plan on Abkhazia will be similar to the one which was developed by the Georgian side last year on South Ossetia.
