Khaindrava Says No “Georgian Terrorists” in Abkhazia
Georgian State Minister for Conflict Resolution Issues Giorgi Khaindrava expressed protest regarding a statement issued by the Foreign Ministry of breakaway Abkhazia, describing this statement as a “provocation.”
In a statement issued on January 17, the Abkhaz Foreign Ministry said that “since Georgian terrorist groups have activated operations in the Gali district [of breakaway Abkhazia], Abkhazia reserves the right to respond adequately.”
“This is a fairy-tale coming from the special services of our neighboring country. Those who make such statements are the provokers,” Khaindrava told reporters on January 19.
