The American Chamber of Commerce introduces new membership provisions for NGOs
On Wednesday, April 13, the AmCham held a General Assembly at the Tbilisi Marriott Hotel to hold elections and adopt changes clarifying the organization’s bylaws.
“These changes eliminate some unclear language in the bylaws so we can be as transparent as possible” says AmCham’s President Fady Asly. He noted that NGOs have been members in the past but now the rule changes will clarify their status in the Chamber. He hopes, that the new amendments will attract “forward looking” NGOs dealing in business issues to join the Chamber.
The American Chamber of Commerce in Georgia is an association aiming to promote the development of commercial relations between Georgia, The USA and the international community in Georgia.
