Breakaway Abkhazia Holds Presidential Inauguration

A ceremony for the inauguration of Sergey Bagapsh as the President of breakaway Abkhazia will be held today in Sokhumi at 1 pm local time. Bagapsh won a landslide victory in the January 12 presidential polls.
 
Reports say that ailing outgoing President Vladislav Ardzinba will attend the inauguration.
 
According to protocol, the President-elect will take the presidential oath in the Abkhazian language.
