MPs Endorse Anti-Corruption Bill

The Parliament approved with the first hearing anti-corruption bill with 111 votes to 1 on February 12.

The bill implies confiscation of assets of those officials who fail to prove assets were acquired legally. 

The amendments also simplify the procedures of arrest of those officials who are suspected of bribery. The bill implies cancellation of immunity for the employees of law-enforcement agencies, Chairman of the Chamber of Control and high officials of Autonomous Republics. 
 
The anti-corruption bill also implies other amendments, which will be discussed in the Parliament on February 13.
