Labor Party, Revival Union Boycott Meeting with President

(Tbilisi, July 8, 2003, Civil Georgia) – Representatives of the opposition Labor Party and the Revival Union do not participate in the meeting with President Shevardnadze and the opposition leaders, which is taking place in the State Chancellery today.

Opposition leaders and the President discuss the US-suggested guidelines for holding fair Parliamentary elections on November 2, delivered to Georgia by the US former Secretary of State James Baker.
