Georgia Denies Links Between London Poison Case and Pankisi
(Tbilisi, January 13, 2003. Civil Georgia) – Georgian State Security Ministry and the Intelligence Service denied any possible links between the London poison case and Pankisi gorge.
The British newspaper Sunday Times reported on January 12 that the deadly poison ricin found by the police in North London flat was produced in Georgia’s Pankisi gorge.
“We have not received any official information proving the report from our British counterparts,” Avtandil Ioseliani, Chief of the Georgian Intelligence Service told the reporters.
