Security Officers Wounded Three Residents of Akhmeta

(Tbilisi, January 26, Civil Georgia) – Georgian State Security Ministry’s employees wounded three local residents of Akhmeta district, eastern Georgia late on January 26. One of them is heavily injured.

State Security Minister Valeri Khaburdzania stated, that the accident has nothing common with the special operation held in Pankisi gorge, Akhmeta district by the law enforcement agencies.

The accident occurred after the quarrel in the caf? between the local residents and the law enforcers.

Military Prosecutor’s Office investigates the case.
