MPs to Meet The President Regarding Situation in Abkhazia

Situation in Abkhazia was discussed during the meeting between the Parliamentary Chairman Zurab Zhvania and members of the Parliamentary factions at behind the closed doors session today.

MPs decided to meet President Shevardnadze regarding the situation in Abkhazia. It is also expected that Ministers of Defense, Internal Affairs and State Security will be invited to the Parliament to inform it about the situation in Abkhazia and Kodori gorge.

Most of Georgian MPs consider that aggravated situation was provoked against Georgia.
