Parliament to Discuss Abkhaz Issue

(Tbilisi, June 20, 2003, Civil Georgia) – Discussion of the plan of action to resolve the conflict of Abkhazia prepared by the Georgian government is scheduled at the Parliamentary session today.

However the discussion was delayed this morning as the government members are holding meeting of the National Security Council.

The Parliament is urging the executive government to present the plan of settlement of the Abkhaz conflict since January 2003.
