Parliamentary Committee’s Opinion Divided Concerning Energy Minister’s Candidature

(Tbilisi. November 18. Civil Georgia) – 7 members of the Parliamentary Committee on Sector Economy disapproved candidature of Davit Mirtskhulava on the post of the Ministry of Energy, 7 supported the candidature.

The Committee voted for the discussion of Mirtskhulava’s candidature on the Parliamentary session scheduled for November 20.

Davit Mirtskhulava is the ex-Minister of Energy fired on November 1 together with the entire cabinet as the result of the mass protests.
