NATO Secretary General Visits Georgia
NATO Secretary General, Anders Fogh Rasmussen, visits Georgia on September 6 as part of his trip in the South Caucasus countries.
Rasmussen, who arrived in Tbilisi from Yerevan, will meet with President Saakashvili and participate in an annual ambassadorial gathering of Georgian diplomats in Tbilisi.
This is Rasmussen’s fourth visit to Georgia and the third one in the capacity of the NATO Secretary General. His first visited Georgia in November, 2008, when he was the Prime Minister of Denmark.
After Georgia, Rasmussen will travel to Baku where he will meet with Azerbaijani President, Ilham Aliyev, and deliver speech at the Azerbaijan Diplomatic Academy on September 7.
