Saakashvili Visits Germany

President Saakashvili will visit Germany on June 23-25.

President Saakashvili will meet with German Chancellor Angela Merkel on June 25.

After visiting Germany, President Saakashvili is expected to travel to Paris to participate in a meeting of the International Democratic Union – an organization uniting centre and centre right parties from around the world. The ruling National Movement Party is a member of the Union, as well as is the opposition New Rights Party. The latter’s leader, Davit Gamkrelidze, will also participate in the meeting in Paris, planned for June 25-26.
