Chief of Chamber of Commerce Resigns

Erosi Kitsmarishvili, the President of the Georgian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, filed resignation on August 31.

Kitsmarishvili made no comments regarding the decision so far and the reasons of this resignation remain unclear yet. Erosi Kitsmarishvili was appointed as the President of the Chamber of Commerce on February 24.

He was founder of one of the leading Georgian televisions Rustavi 2 as well. However, news broke on July 19, that Kitsmarishvili sold his shares of the TV company to the Georgian businessman Kibar Khalvashi.
