Firebrand Russian MP Protests at Georgian Embassy in Moscow

Ultranationalist Russian MP Vladimir Zhirinovsky, the Vice-Speaker of the Russian Duma Council, lower chamber of Parliament, and his couple of dozen supporters held a protest rally outside the Georgian embassy in Moscow on August 30.

The protest rally in support of Georgia?s breakaway South Ossetia and Abkhazia was prevailed by anti-Georgian slogans.

?South Ossetia and Abkhazia are independent states already for 12 years,? Vladimir Zhirinovsky said and expressed hope that the international community will ?recognize their independence soon.?

The right wing Russian nationalists from the People’s Patriotic Forces of Russia, held a protest rally outside the Georgian embassy in Moscow on August 27 outside the Georgian embassy in Moscow, carrying banners depicting Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili as Hitler.
