Abkhaz Leader Threatens to Withdraw from Talks

Abkhaz leader Sergey Bagapsh threatened ?to use all means, including diplomatic and military? to prevent the establishment of, as he put it, the ?puppet? Tbilisi-based Abkhaz government-in-exile in the Georgian-controlled upper Kodori Gorge in Abkhazia.

President Saakashvili announced on July 28 that the exiled government will move to Kodori Gorge, ?which is in the middle of Abkhazia? so close to Sokhumi.?

?Today we [the government] will discuss the issue of the suspension of any kind of talks with Georgia. Georgia is violating all previously achieved agreements,? Bagapsh told Interfax news agency.

?We reserve the right not to allow the establishment of a puppet government in the Kodori Gorge. I am not ruling out the use of any means, including diplomatic and military, to achieve this goal,? the Abkhaz leader added.
