Georgian Foreign Minister Visits Finland

Georgian Foreign Minister Gela Bezhuashvili will start a two-day official visit to Finland on February 6 to hold talks with his Finnish counterpart Erkki Tuomioja, as well as the Defense and Trade Ministers of the country.
 
According to the Georgian Foreign Ministry, the issues of Georgia’s integration into the EU and NATO, energy security and the peace plan for conflict resolution will be discussed.
 
The support of Finland, as the country which will hold the next EU Presidency, is of great importance in this context; the main goal of Bezhuashvili’s visit will be to secure this support, according to the Georgian Foreign Ministry.
