Georgian President, U.S. Defense Secretary Meet in Germany

President Saakashvili, who is participating in the high-profile security conference in Munich, held talks with U.S. Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld on February 3, Georgian Defense Minister Irakli Okruashvili said.
 
Okruashvili, who also attended the talks, said that the military cooperation between the United States and Georgia, which “is developing in a positive way” were discussed during the talks.  
 
“The United States supports Georgia’s NATO aspirations. Naturally, their support will be apparent in resolution of Abkhaz and South Ossetian conflicts,” Okruashvili told reporters on February 3.
