JCC Agrees to Jointly Investigate Incidents in S.Ossetian Conflict Zone
The quadripartite Joint Control Commission (JCC), which held an emergency session in Moscow on June 22 to discuss the crime situation in the South Ossetian conflict zone, agreed to jointly investigate those recent incidents ? an armed clash in the village of Tamarasheni and the disappearance of four Georgians – which triggered an aggravation in the situation in the conflict zone, RIA Novosti news agency reported.
The Georgian, Russian, North Ossetian and South Ossetian sides formalized this agreement by signing a protocol. Officials from the Interior Ministries of sides involved in JCC also participated in this session in Moscow.
