CIS Railway Chiefs Meet in Tbilisi
Heads of the state railway companies from the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) will meet in Tbilisi on June 15 to discuss potential cooperation issues.
Chief of Russian Railway Company Genadi Fadeev, who will also participate in this meeting, will also hold bilateral talks with Georgian President Saakashvili and Prime Minister Zurab Nogaideli. Reportedly, the issue of resumption of the railway connection between Russia and Georgia via breakaway Abkhazia will be discussed during these bilateral talks.
