Georgian, Russian Foreign Ministers Discuss Military Bases

Georgian Foreign Minister Salome Zourabichvili will meet her Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov in Moscow on May 30 to discuss the agreement over withdrawal of Russian military bases from Georgia, the Russian Foreign Ministry reported on May 30.

The Russian Foreign Ministry?s information note reads that this meeting follows ?active negotiations? between the two sides, which resulted in nearing the positions over ?most of the problems.?
