Zourabichvili, Lavrov Hold Phone Talks
Georgian Foreign Minister Salome Zourabichvili and her Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov held a telephone conversation late on May 4 and agreed that talks over withdrawal of Russian military bases from Georgia will be continued in Moscow on May 6, the Russian Foreign Ministry reported.
The two ministers discussed the draft statement of the Russian and Georgian Presidents regarding the key aspects of bilateral relations, especially concerning the pull out of Russian bases.
?Moscow is disposed to reach mutually acceptable agreement in the shortest period of time,? an information note issued by the Russian Foreign Ministry on May 4 reads.
