Unofficial Reports: Army General Staff Hand in Their Resignation

The leadership of the General Staff of the Georgian Armed Forces have filed their resignation, as was demanded from the leadership of the Defense Ministry, a source in the Georgian Defense Ministry told Civil Georgia on February 15.
 
The Defense Ministry declined to make any comments regarding this report. Officials say that comments will only be made after Defense Minister Irakli Okruashvili returns from his visit to Germany, reportedly on February 16.
