Constitutional Court Moves to Western Georgia
Georgian Prime Minister Zurab Zhvania said at a governmental session on January 26 that the Tbilisi-based Constitutional Court will soon be relocated to Kutaisi, the second largest city located in the western part of the country.
?This is one of the first moves directed towards the country?s decentralization,? Zurab Zhvania said.
The draft plan over ?Reforming Management of Governmental Structures? envisages relocation of some of the governmental office from the capital city Tbilisi to different towns in Georgia. The initial version of the draft was approved at a governmental session on January 20.
The draft also envisages relocating the National Regulatory Commissions.
