Russian Reports: Militant Killed while Crossing Georgian Border

Russia?s Counter-Terrorism Operations Center in the North Caucasus reported on December 22 that an alleged Chechen militant was killed by the Russian border guards while trying to cross the Russian-Georgian border.  No exact location was reported.

Itar-Tass news agency reported that the person who was killed was carrying a video tape showing footage of terrorist acts carried out in Chechnya and Ingush Republic of Russian Federation.
