Georgian Parliament Condemns Fraudulent Elections in Ukraine

The Georgian Parliament unanimously adopted a statement on November 25, in which it condemns the ballot rigging in Ukraine.

?Georgia shares the position of the OSCE, the European Union, the Council of Europe and democratic states regarding the fraudulent presidential elections in Ukraine,? the statement reads.

?When the entire international community openly fixes its position, we cannot refrain from expressing our attitude towards the current situation in Ukraine,? Georgian Parliamentary Chairperson Nino Burjanadze said on November 25.

The Georgian Parliament welcomed the will of the Ukrainian people for democratic development and expressed hope that their struggle would end peacefully.
