Labor Party Leader Denounced New President as Illegitimate

Leader of the Labor Party Shalva Natelashvili said today he does not recognize the new President of Georgia as legitimate.

“I do not recognize Mikheil Saakashvili as a President of Georgia because he came to power by illegal methods. He will destroy our country,” Shalva Natelashvili said at a news briefing on January 6. 

Shalva Natelashvili denounced the November velvet revolution as illegitimate.

Earlier in December the Labor Party called on the population for boycotting the presidential elections.
