EU Demand Investigation of Peter Shaw Case

(Tbilisi, August 28 2002, Civil Georgia) EU will suspend its assistance to Georgia If the case of British banker peter Shaw is not investigated soon, EU warned Georgian authority again.

Georgia would loose 23 million euros in FY 2002 if EU suspends its financial-technical assistance.

Seven gunmen kidnapped British citizen Peter Show, co-director of the Agro-Business Bank of Georgia in Tbilisi from his own car late at night on June 18.
