US Senators Visit Georgia

(Tbilisi, Civil Georgia, August 2, 2002) – 8 US Congressmen and 4 members of House of Representatives arrived to Georgia today, State Chancellery reports.&nbsp

US Senators will meet Georgian Defense Minister, the President, the Foreign Affairs Minister and the Parliamentary Chairperson on August 3.

Topics of the meetings will mainly be US-Georgian relations, political stability in Georgia, Georgia Train-and-Equip Program and cooperation between the two countries in security sphere.
