Police Seize Anti-Craft Missiles

(Tbilisi, Civil Georgia, July 28, 2002) – Late on July 26 the police detained major of the Georgian Defense Ministry, which carried six anti-craft missiles near Senaki, western Georgia.

This is the second case in last two months when the official from the defense structures is involved in arms dealing.

In June the police detained employee of the State Security Ministry transporting 9 rockets and 2 grenade launchers.
