“Boeviks” Intended to Cross Georgian-Russian Border, Russia Reports
(Tbilisi, May 22, Civil Georgia) – Russian Border Guard Federal Service reports that there was a clash between Russian border guards and approximately 20 “boeviks” yesterday, May 21. The boeviks were trying to enter Chechnya from Georgia.
After some gunshots from the side of the border guards, the “boeviks” went back to the Georgian territory. There are no victims, the Russian side reports.
Georgian border guard service has no official information about the fact. According to its press-secretary, the fact of crossing Georgian boarder by the “boeviks” was not noticed by Georgian border guards.
