Georgian Navy Exercise in Black Sea

(Tbilisi, February 7, Civil Georgia) – Georgian navy exercises Grigali [Storm] – 2002 started in Poti, town at Black Sea coast in western Georgia on February 7. Exercises will last for two days.

The navy exercise involves 10 vessels. It will be focused on the organization rescue operations, the protection of strategic facilities and antiterrorist actions, Georgian Defense Ministry reports.

Georgian navy commander Gigla Iremadze will supervise the exercise.
