Mass Protest Demands Resignation of Mtskheta-Mtianeti Governor

(Tbilisi. December 3. Civil Georgia) – The population of provincial Mtkheta-Mtianeti region held the meeting in front of the Governor’s office demanding resignation of Koba Buchukuri, Mtkheta-Mtianeti region Governor.

Approximatly 2.000 protesters accuse Buchukuri in corruption and demand from the Governor increased supply of electricity and water. 

Mtkheta-Mtianeti Governor thinks that the mass protest is a provocation against him organized by the Labors party leader Shalva Natelashvili. Natelashvili denies the accusation.
