The Parliamentary Committee Supports Levan Dzneladze for Revenue Minister

Tax and Income Committee in the Parliament supported the candidature of Levan Dzneladze, present Minister of Property Management, on the position of the Minister for Taxation and Revenues.

At the Committee session Levan Dzneladze presented his outlook concerning the conditions existing in the tax system in Georgia. He said it is important to pass reforms in customs and tax systems. Tax code is to be amended first of all.

The present Property Management Minister is a member of Economics, Trade and Industry Minister Vano Chkhartishvili’s team. So it is expected that the reforers’ wing of the Citizens’ Union will not support the candidature even though they have not made a formal announcement about it yet.
