Head of Georgian Border Police Resigns
Head of the Georgian Border Police, Zurab Gamezardashvili, who simultaneously served as deputy interior minister, has resigned.
In a post on his Facebook page, Gamezardashvili said without specifying the reasons that it was his “personal decision.”
It is unknown, who will replace Gamezardashvili, who led the Georgian Border Police since November 2013.
