Bagapsh Accuses Tbilisi of ‘Aggression’
Two servicemen died and several others were injured after a group of armed Georgians entered Abkhazia and attacked conscripts at a training camp, Interfax news agency quoted Abkhaz leader Sergey Bagapsh as saying on September 20.
The Abkhaz leader accused Georgia of aggression and threatened to take appropriate measures.
Interfax also reported that the whereabouts of several other servicemen, serving in the Abkhaz controlled Tkvarcheli district, remained unknown.
No other details of the incident have been reported.
The Georgian side has yet to comment.
