Georgian President Not Concerned with the Russian Officials’ Statements

(Tbilisi, April 1, Civil Georgia) – President Shevardnadze stated on April 1, that Georgian should not be concerned with the statements made by the Russian officials. 

Georgian President commented on Russian Defense Minister Sergei Ivanov’s statement that Russia might delay military bases withdrawal from Georgia.

“It is President Putin’s opinion that is significant for us. He confirmed that Russia is loyal to its international commitments,” Eduard Shevardnadze said in his traditional Monday radiobroadcast.
