President: Tbilisi Acts in Coordination with West not Separately over Ukraine
Georgia’s approach in respect of the Ukrainian crisis is not to take steps independently without being in coordination with the western partners, President Giorgi Margvelashvili said.
“I want to state for everyone what our strategic course in terms of being involved in these processes is. This course implies to be engaged in de-escalation of the existing crisis maximally and in coordination with our western partners,” he told journalists on March 9.
“It implies that Georgia will not undertake steps independently in this regard; instead it will be part of the civilized [international] community, which is working actively on daily basis on resolving this issue.
