PM Says will Name Successor Next Week

PM Ivanishvili, who is planning pre-term resignation, said on October 24 that he will announce new prime ministerial nominee on Tuesday or Wednesday.

Ivanishvili, who says he’s confident that GD presidential candidate Giorgi Margvelashvili will win Sunday’s vote without requiring the second round, told Kavkasia TV: “You will know [prime ministerial nominee] on Tuesday or Wednesday.”

Ivanishvili said the new PM will be an “honest man” and a “good manager.”
