July GDP Growth 0.6% – Preliminary Data

Georgia’s real GDP grew 0.6% year-on-year in July after 0.6% y/y contraction in June, according to preliminary data released by state statistics agency, Geostat, on August 30.

Geostat slightly revised upwards preliminary estimation of economic growth in the second quarter of 2013 from initial 1.3% to 1.4%.
