Georgian, Polish Presidents Meet in Warsaw
President Saakashvili met with his Polish counterpart, Bronisław Komorowski, in Warsaw on December 6.
The two presidents discussed “deepening of bilateral relations”, as well as recent internal political developments in Georgia, according to the Georgian President’s administration; it said that President Komorowski reiterated Poland’s support to Georgia’s Euro-Atlantic aspiration.
While in Poland, President Saakashvili will attend annual International Caucasian Session hosted by the Centre for East European Studies of the University of Warsaw, the Georgian President’s administration said.
On December 8 he will be in Kraków to participate in a conference “Poland and the World in the 21st Century”, organized by Institute for Strategic Studies.
