Georgia Takes Olympic Wrestling Silver
Georgian wrestler Vladimer Khinchegashvili took the silver medal at the London Olympics after losing to Russia’s Dzhamal Otarsultanov in the men’s 55-kilogram freestyle final on August 10.
Georgia now has four medals – one gold, two silver and one bronze – at the London 2012 Olympic Games.
Lasha Shavdatuashvili won gold medal in the men’s under 66kg judo; Revaz Lashkhi had to settle for silver in the men’s 60kg Greco-Roman wrestling and Manuchar Tskhadaia took bronze medal in the men’s 66kg Greco-Roman wrestling.
