MIA: Georgian Police Post Attacked

The Georgian police post close to the key bridge over Enguri river came under fire at 2am on January 14, the Georgian Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) said.

It said that “the fire, which lasted for 20 minutes, was opened from the territory controlled by Abkhazian separatists and Russian occupants.” The Ministry also said that the Georgian police did not return fire. No casualties were reported.
