PM: NSC Chair Lomaia to Continue Tenure in Diplomatic Service

PM Grigol Mgaloblishvili said that Alexandre Lomaia, the Secretary of National Security Council, will be reassigned from his current position to a diplomatic service.

PM Mgaloblishvili told the Imedi TV’s evening news program that consultations were still underway to decide in which country Lomaia would be appointed as Georgia’s ambassador.

Shortly before that announcement by the PM, Lomaia told Civil.Ge that he was continuing performing his duties in the National Security Council, but did not rule out to continue his tenure in the diplomatic service.
