Two Blasts Reported Close to S.Ossetia Border

Two explosives went off in the village of Zemo Nikozi, on the Georgian side of the South Ossetian administrative border, on October 12, the Georgian Interior Ministry said.

No one was injured in the blasts, which occurred at 10:40am and 10:55am local time.

“It is noteworthy that the Georgian side three days ago detained in the same area three Russian soldiers and later handed them over to the Russian side,” the Interior Ministry said in a statement.
