Reports Say Russian Troops Digging in at Various Locations

Reports are coming from various locations across the territories now under the control of the Russian forces, that they were digging in positions at those locations.

An eyewitness told Civil.Ge to have seen Russian soldiers, backed up by two armored vehicles, digging in what seemed to be foxholes or tank emplacements in the village of Gomi. The village is located on the major highway, close to the town of Kareli in the west from Gori.

InterPressNews reported the same situation at the village of Teklati, close to the town of Senaki in the western Georgian region of Samegrelo. The news agency’s correspondent from the scene said to have seen Russian troops digging in “trenches.”
